Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital has the need of the patients in mind and providing the best medical care quality as its faith. In response to the trend of precision and minimal invasiveness, in 2013, Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital initiated the cutting edge ‘Third generation Davinci Surgery System’ and the fourth generation in 2017, making our hospital the first in the middle region for using the newest generation system. Furthermore in 2018, ‘Hybrid Operating room’ was constructed; 2019, ‘Endoscopy diagnosis and treatment center’ was established. The advanced equipment not only reduces the time of surgery but also renders the care even more complete and enhances the safety of surgery for the patients.
In order to elevate the convenience for patients, Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital has deployed artificial intelligence (AI) system and information management, adopted automated check-in machine for blood testing so the tested can save time in que and the mobility challenged and the elderly may have priority for testing, creating hear-warming service. We also initiated automated payment machines to shorten the waiting time for payment. We even integrated smart medical care into our VIP ward, hoping to provide the best medical care for the hospitalized patients. In addition, Tung's Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital has been incessantly upgrading the team’s medical capability establishing complete care procedure and acquired official and international recognition through the assessment and review by domestic and international experts. We have passed the international medical care quality JCI certification four times.
Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital bears the responsibility of providing care for the public while creating a quality work place. We are one of the only two enterprises that have received the ‘Five Star Happiness Promotion Award’ in the happy workplace contest sponsored by the Taichung City Government. We even received the ‘Health Caring Award’ in the national quality healthy workplace competition.
